- At the subsequent sale of materials from the wreck, this figurehead was purchased by Thomas Henderson, of Spiggie, grandfather of the donor for 1/-. This is most likely a portrait carving and may well be a likeness of the person after whom the ship was named. The figurehead was long displayed outside at Spiggie and was badly weathered.

- This figurehead came from the brig 'Elwine' of Stettin, which was wrecked off Clukkistack, near Spiggie on 16th November 1877 with the loss of all her crew.
