A half-length female figurehead. She is wearing a dark red dress with white collar and cuffs, and a gold circular brooch at the centre of her collar. She has dark brown hair which is gathered into a bun at the back and decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves on both sides of her head. The figure has green eyes and is looking forward.

The figurehead is part of a collection assembled by Sydney Cumbers and known as 'The Long John Silver Collection'. There is no record about how or where the figurehead was acquired.
The ship was a steel barque about 900 tons built in 1893 by Workman Clark at Belfast for A. Craig of Belfast and believed to have been wrecked in February 1913.
Discrepancy in the identification of this figurehead between the information provided by the Cutty Sark and the book by S.F. Bailey. Will need to be checked. (?)
