Three-quarter-length portrait of Benjamin Disraeli, Earl of Beaconsfield (1804- 1881), with a goatee beard, and side whiskers, and wearing a coat, waistcoat, shirt with stand-up collar and a bow tie.

Acquired by Sydney Cumbers from the Beeching and Moses Yard at Ramsgate in 1946. It was supposed to have come from a ship called 'Lord Byron' wrecked in about 1862 but more closely resembles, Benjamin Disraeli.
