Three-quarter-length figure holding a lyre in her left hand. Terpsichore was the Muse of Lyric Poetry or Dance. She wears a low cut dress with straps. Her hair is tied back and a laurel wreath adorns her head.

Vessel history
A sloop of 18 guns, tonnage,603(BM) with eighteen 32pdrs. on the main deck launched at Blackwall in 1847. She was sunk in torpedo trials in 1865 before being raised and broken up by Castle and Beech in 1866.
