A half-length, male, semi-nude youth, clean shaven, with short hair, there are classical drapes around the arms and base of figure.

A 4th rate, 50 guns launched a Portsmouth Dockyard in 1847 and converted to a screw ship in 1861. From 1853, she was deployed to the Black Sea during the Crimea War under the command of Captains George St Vincent King, Swynfen Thomas Carnegie, William Peel, William Moorsom and Edward Bridges Rice. After her conversion to steam in 1861, she was on the Pacific Station being broken up in 1867 after her return to Britain.
