A pre-dreadnought battleship built at Chatham in 1892. After a spell in the Mediterranean she was sent out to the China Station in 1898. Back in Plymouth in 1901 she was refitted and spent the end of her career serving as a flagship in the Reserve and Home Fleets. By now outclassed by the new dreadnoughts, 'Barfleur' was scrapped at Blyth in 1910.
