Carved by Hellyer of Cosham in 1857 for the sum of £24.
Vessel history
51 gun wood, screw frigate, launched at Deptford in 1858. Under the command of Rear-Admiral Sir Harry Keppel, she was involved in an action against a local ruler in the River Niger. She was then deployed to America. From 1868 she was deployed to the East Indies. From 1879, she was a receiving hulk at Chatham, then a coal hulk at Sheerness. In 1905 she was destroyed by fire together with 1800 tons of coal.
